An equestrienne's travel adventures around the planet, or, a traveller's equestrian adventures around the planet (occasionally on foot, sometimes chasing owls, almost always with The Raven). Just Ride - Anywhere!
Great photos! That's some beautiful countryside.
Bonitos paisajes, da gusto montar por esas praderas verdes y montañosas.Recuerdos de Gabriel.
Oh, how cool! I always wondered what European endurance rides were like. Beautiful country out there...
Hi, I noticed your blog in the sidebar of 'where's my ff-ing pony'.This looks like a great ride.I've justed popped over to your photosite. Your photos are jawdroppingly gorgeous!
What a thrill! What a special treat for you!And I had no idea that draft breeds and pony breeds could do endurance! Are there any that do endurance in the US?How did those over there do that day?~Lisa
There are other breeds that do endurance in the US - Morgans, mustangs, appys, QH, TB, etc, but draft horses are pretty rare... one gal in the NW has a half Clydesdale but that's all I've seen. We didn't stay till the end, but I expect these horses finished. They were at the tail end of their ride, and the riders looked like they were having a blast!
