We didn't see Owyhee Super Luna for 2 weeks while we were at City of Rocks, and while she grew bigger, she didn't forget us. She whinnied a greeting when I got back.
Besides mom Perry, 1 or 2 aunts or uncles hang out with her in her big home pen. On her 10-week-old birthday, we let her out for the first time with the whole herd.
Here's how it went:
Good looking foal!
ReplyDeleteLoved it!! The best part was when the whole herd came back to get her when she missed the gate the second time. *lol* She is going to develop some good strong bones, muscles, and attitude out there with that gang.
ReplyDeleteWhat a special video. Something to treasure in years to come.
She is beautiful and looks so strong. Loved her neck-scratch. I'm not that impressed with her mother, leaving her behind.
ReplyDeleteWho is her sire?
ReplyDeleteUMG music not allowed due to rights or some such..
ReplyDeleteAnon, her sire is a son of Fusaichi Pegasus (!). He's owned by our down-the-road neighbors Andy & Gloria.
ReplyDeleteLytha... must be a Germany thang?? I hear the music when I play it, although they slapped an ad on the video. I never understand the music stuff. I bought the music, so... ?
She is adorable! Love the video of the whole herd coming to find her.
ReplyDeleteShe is so elegant! What a beautiful girl! They are so lucky to have so much "play room"! Gorgeous video, Merri!

Loved the video. Some royal breeding there, she sure should be a good one.
