One of the key moves in Horse Wrestling is the Strike.

Owyhee Sensei (and Social Director) Jose teaches his students the valuable move.

He show Mac how to do it.

Higher!

Jose teaches Krusty.

Krusty's got it.

  1. Funny, if there's one move I dislike - it's a strike! They can come so fast,be so dangerous & do such damage! GREAT photos though!

  2. This is an essential move for knocking down fence rails in between the combatants.

I still am figuring out the true scoring system for horse wrestling, but I do know a "lip hold" can also be a very effective move.

Love the pictures, as always. *S*

  4. The front feet are as dangerous as the back feet. When I'm hand- breeding Beamer, I have to watch out for his front feet and the mare's back feet. Which means that I have to be agile on my feet!
