Not a Good Day to Ride

Monday October 25 2010

...Unless you have velcro on your saddle.

The fall storm moved into Owyhee, and the horses mimicked the howling winds, gusting and blustering, whirling and whipping, leaping and bucking, sprinting and spinning, rolling and shaking, rearing and sparring, feeling alive as the freshening rain that swept over the desert.

  1. Those pics are awesome. I love the color contrast between the horses and the ground.

  2. Wonderful pictures! Glad I wasn't astride any of those "wild" beauties.
Some of these look like perfect shots for those wallpaper borders they sell. Maybe you could somehow transfer the pics to some kind of similar paper and make your own custom decorations for the house.

OK, I get a bit carried away with ideas like that...for someone else to do...not me. *G*

  5. Que fotos más bonitas de los caballos en el horizonte, la tormenta alegra a los caballos y disfrutan con la lluvia.

  6. WONDERFUL photos (as always)!
I agree with Jean, you should be able to make some money on those...

And it looks like a sensible decision to let the riding wait until another day, lol!
