Neighbor Linda came calling yesterday with a New Owyhee Resident in tow - a spotted donkey. The dogs gathered 'round for a visit with her too.
We set about spoiling her right away with carrots. In fact she followed Linda right up the steps to the front door for a farewell carrot.She's in foal to a miniature stallion, so her baby will be a "hinny" - a mini hinny.
Won't THAT be a cute asset to the golden babies on the ground now, and due next year along Pickett Creek!
