Pacific Mist

Friday July 12 2013

Horses and riders emerge from the mist of the Pacific Ocean on the shores of Long Beach, Washington.

One of these must have been a draft horse, his hoof prints dwarfing the rest.

  4. Foot (or hoof) prints in wet sand are always neat. Great images in the mist.

  5. I have only made the trek to that Beach once. Minus the horses...it was hot the day we went, walked a bit down the beach...got Freezing cold because the wind shifted...so turned back. As we walked back, a sheriff car, then two fire trucks drove by because someone set the dune's grass on fire....it is a nice, long beach tho...
I tend to go to Ocean Shores Beach...takes only a few hrs to get to....:)

  7. I've never ridden on a long beach like that, although I have taken horses swimming. Someday, maybe!
