The Warner Springs endurance ride took place in the oak forests in the rolling foothills of Palomar Mountain in southern California. The bonus of the ride was the swimming pool-sized hot springs. Ahhhhhh......

Great first shot - that's an amazing downhill trot! I could do with some hot springs about now :)

I absolutely love the pic of the tree toward the top of your post - I can only imagine standing beneath such a behemoth on an overly warm spring day. Imagine the depth of the shadow it must throw! Thanks for posting that!
