A spike is a young (usually 1 - 2 years) bull elk or buck deer with a set of unbranched antlers. After the first year or two, the antlers usually branch or fork with multiple tines growing out from a main beam.EcoRoverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07294159049375690786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2065325235071302257.post-56059350488278399292010-12-22T23:01:37.487-08:002010-12-22T23:01:37.487-08:00Brought a tear to my eye when she started running....Brought a tear to my eye when she started running. I could watch her run at liberty like that, all day long. I hope they allow her to spend more time outside than just that short video, though.

She was having such fun! All her little bucks. So cute! I loved how she carries her tail flagged like a free-spirited Arabian. Wheee!
And she made me laugh towards the end when she was being led out. She reminded me of a Pacing horse the way she was stretching her legs so far forward. She's gorgeous!

And I was laughing at the way her entourage acted like a bunch of groupies ready to do Zenyatta's bidding....Gourmet mineral water, Miss Z? Some petting, Miss Z? A truckload of carrots, Miss Z?
lol!

She's living a luxurious life in her retirement, that's for sure. Wish all race horses had this to look forward to.

~LisaLaughing Orca Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03562627840013868980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2065325235071302257.post-25229006285714196342010-12-22T11:47:37.187-08:002010-12-22T11:47:37.187-08:00Thank you so much for the video.
