I'd like to think there's something to it.Laura Bnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2065325235071302257.post-6876638780818948042012-04-27T12:04:28.546-07:002012-04-27T12:04:28.546-07:00It is in the blood...no matter from whom it cameIt is in the blood...no matter from whom it cameSue Hnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2065325235071302257.post-89759789645019004112012-04-26T12:54:52.736-07:002012-04-26T12:54:52.736-07:00Cute photo of the 4 boys on a horse. I, too, wish I had asked my mom and dad so many things that I never thought about when I had the chance.Janiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06509431336916594990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2065325235071302257.post-11258305491103263242012-04-25T15:17:29.160-07:002012-04-25T15:17:29.160-07:00I think you're all right!

My mom was a horse person, rode a lot, had friends that were then my friends when I started to ride, but my dad had no interest in them. We backpacked in the Sierras and whenever we passed a pack string I begged him to let us do that NEXT time instead of us carrying our backpacks. It didn't happen for me til I was in my mid thirties and he also was taken on horse back pack trips when he couldn't hike anymore. But, where it comes from....???? It's ingrained in so many of us. Any it's so wonderful.Squishyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01609283994605336235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2065325235071302257.post-46021657202994370982012-04-24T10:20:24.633-07:002012-04-24T10:20:24.633-07:00Random genetic variation. They all look at me as though I'm a little "tainted" in the head. My earliest memory is toddling over to and sitting in the shade under my grandfather's big draft. Nearly gave my Mom heart failure I guess, but the shade was nice and so were those feathery fetlocks :)All Who Wanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15811193190492037859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2065325235071302257.post-6836669588402018692012-04-23T23:57:30.579-07:002012-04-23T23:57:30.579-07:00Heh. They are totally bewildered by me - I am the horse-loving cuckoo child. My Dad was brought up on the farm and handled the horses who used to pull the milk truck. Like you, I was "horse deprived" as a child, but as soon as I got my first job after college, it was full speed ahead and I've never looked back.Jeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10029423500476995817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2065325235071302257.post-52008635745145843722012-04-23T17:46:58.883-07:002012-04-23T17:46:58.883-07:00It seems to me, a girl doesn't need a reason t...It seems to me, a girl doesn't need a reason to want a horse.
