My "...Okay, so this one really got me thinking. My "horsey" dreams really are very simple. I'd like to ride endurance-someday the Tevis. I'd like to ride with all my kids along (anywhere or everywhere). I'd like to take a horsey vacation somewhere warm and scenic. 1) Ride in one of the XP events t...OK I'm game:<br />1) Ride in one of the XP events that follow the original pony express route.<br />2) Complete the Big Horn 100 on the last foal from my TB breeding program- (we didn't have much success at the racetrack and this guy isn't even going to go there, so I'm hoping he will be my endurance horse- this is a dream with capital D, he isn't even started yet:)<br />3) Attend the Eastern High Sierra Classic endurance ride- those pictures made me want to be there!<br />4) Spend a week at a real ranch and learn to work cattle.<br />5) Attend a Buck Brannaman clinic.<br />6) Try foxhunting in the northeast, preferrably in the fall.<br />7) Go to one of the rides in Arizona, in the middle of winter when it is grey and drizzling for months straight here in Wa. where I live.CGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05083608347643075663noreply@blogger.com
