Monster on the Crick!

Tuesday May 8 2012

There she was, gangly legs, wobbly knees and all, by the time we got up this morning.

She's light brown, but will likely turn gray like her mama.

She nursed, she pooped, and was soon looking for a way to fold those long legs to lay down and take a nap. It would take a structural engineer to figure that one out - which she hadn't figured out yet, while I was watching.

A nice morning surprise, a new little monster on the crick!

Our summer friend Judy arrived yesterday, and she imprinted the baby this morning. Wish I'd gotten that on the helmet cam! I'll do it tomorrow when Judy works with her.
    She's sooooo soft and fuzzy!

  8. Oh, too cute for words.

In a day or less, those legs will be carrying her at speed and she will know exactly how to fold them up to lie down. What takes a human baby months, a foal learns in an instant.

    Love her.

Included with this post are 2 personal recipes that was sent to me by Peters wife Diane, so please stop by and say hello and share your memories of this classic TV show. Richard
