-
I have been visiting the ravens up on Mt. Veeder about once a week just to
hear their chatter and to see them do their acrobatics in the air. It is

love the cartoon Merri..great job
ReplyDeleteGreat story, as usual. I love it!!
ReplyDeleteHave to laugh about the hairy horses, but that's the difference between a real working horse and a show horse.
What a nice commentary on Redford's beautiful disposition that the children could pet him amidst all that hubbub and all those flashy...probably dangerous...bag chased critters. A tribute to what a horse should be!
Wonderful Merri! There are no words needed!
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
My hero!
ReplyDeleteYay and hurray for Redford! :))))))
ReplyDeleteI have never liked cartoons, even as a kid I didn't but I LOVE your horse toons. The looks on the faces of the herd listening to Redford were great!
ReplyDeletePriceless! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou nailed it! haha. Great 'Toon!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely priceless! You nailed it. I absolutely laughted until I choked.
ReplyDeletethanks everybody! i was only relaying what Redford told his herd. and their reactions. seriously. (life is a cartoon).
ReplyDelete: )
I love your cartoons, Merri, they're hilarious!! Funny thing is, is that I used to own Farrabba (Redford) as a 1-2 yr old! Fred Emigh actually came to look at him and turned him down. Sold him to a lady in Colorado, then lost track of him! I was so ecstatic when I found out that he found a great home with an endurance rider!! Wonder if he'd remember his old mom!

ReplyDeleteLove the looks of wide eyed disbelief. Reminds me of Ozzy telling Jabby about his endurance ride (the one he didn't complete).
ReplyDelete"And I ran really fast. So fast the other horses had to do an extra loop as punishment."
Funny. I could just imagine an endurance horse thinking that way about all those fancy dan show horses!
ReplyDeletelol...this is what my horse would think of 'shows' too, lol...
ReplyDeletelove it Merri
